We tried the Chinese food, but it was really very poor quality and very disappointing. Even there, when we visited for dinner, only two units were open a Chinese Panda Express 'wanna-be' and an overpriced hamburger joint. There was no room service and the only food outlet open was a food court in the casino. On checking in, we were told our room would not be serviced by housekeeping during our stay. While we stayed more than a week after the covid restrictions were lifted in California, someone forgot to tell the Chumash management. The resort stands alone, there are no nearby shops or restaurants. The shower is spacious, but would benefit from a better showerhead. The in-room refrigerator, curiously, had a glass door and interior light that I could not turn off, so it was a bit disturbing at night.
The guest room was large and well furnished. The resort is quite beautiful, with lots of use of natural stone in a wilderness setting.
